About Andy

Andy was born and raised in the City of Charlotte. His family moved to the Charlotte in 1960 to start one of cities first residential construction companies, building neighborhoods throughout the city like Landsdowne, Birkdale, Hembstead and more. As a third generation Charlotte realtor, he spent much of his childhood on a construction site working in the family business. He learned the value of hard work and doing things right the first time. Being known for quality work and reputation were family business essentials.

For over 20 years Andy has taken his passion for homes and building into the non-profit sector. He has led teams throughout the world building schools, medical centers, after school centers, and more. He has been recognized by the US ambassador to Jamaica and given a key to the city of São Paulo for his work in leading international build teams. He has also led teams for veteran housing in Asheville and various other non-profit projects in Nashville, West Philly, Camden, DC, Atlanta, NYC, North Charleston, Eastern Kentucky, Daytona, South Dakota and Puerto Rico. He has also served as an adjunct professor at his alma mater Gardner-Webb University.

Andy has the knowledge to get the job done, the ability to negotiate strongly and put his clients in the best position possible to accomplish these goals, while keeping things as smooth and calm as possible for his clients. He has been involved in home sales and construction his entire life. He is extremely knowledgeable about the city, the Charlotte Real Estate Market and all things house related.

Andy joined the Helen Adams Realty family in 2016. He earned the honor of Rookie of the year honors and quickly became one of the companies’ top producers and customer service leaders. Andy loves what he does. He values effective communication, detailed planning and has a personality to give the best to his clients. He delivers a concierge level approach to Real Estate and always seeks to give his clients the best experience possible.
