We had purchased the condo we were living in using Andy as our agent 7 years ago. We wanted to know what he thought of our condo, from a real estate perspective. We were hoping to upgrade to a house in Golden but were not confident about the likelihood that we could. Andy did not promise us a house in Golden but was willing to try. The team was professional, friendly, detail oriented and "in-tune" about the current market conditions. There was always someone available to answer questions, regardless of time of day. They gave us useful tips about staging our condo to have the greatest impact to potential buyers. They had great ideas to highlight the things that made our condo special, like little placards in areas where we had done upgrades. They provided all of the necessary accruement that would be needed to show our condo during COVID. They were available immediately to show us the house we later purchased, when we called them just as it went on the market. We don't plan on moving out of our new home in Golden anytime soon, but if we were, we would definitely use Andy and the team.

Being a first time home buyer in the Denver market during a pandemic is one of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever had to go through, which is why I was so relieved to have chosen to work with Andy and his team. I had worked with each member of the team at different points of my home buying journey and can honestly say that each one of them is top notch at what they do (shout-out to Myles, Jana, & Natasha). Not only are they professional and easy to work with, but they’re extremely knowledgeable and informative if you are willing to listen and learn. Our first meeting consisted of an hour+ long consultation where the team was introduced and I was able to discuss what I was looking for in a home/neighborhood. They also gave me an overview of what to expect in the Denver housing market, the end-to-end process of buying a home along with major steps/milestones I would have to be aware of, and strategies and tools that would be utilized to help me be competitive and win bids. I appreciated that they never pushed me into making any decisions I wasn’t comfortable with, but they always gave me a realistic view of what was happening in the market and the homes I was bidding on (even if it wasn’t what I wanted to hear). I cannot recommend Andy and team enough! As a first time home buyer there were so many things I didn't know. From the day I found the listing through the day of closing, Andy shared so much valuable information with me and guided me through every step of the process. For a little context, I found the listing on a Saturday and had to decide if I wanted to make an offer the very next day. He and his team were in constant contact with me throughout that whole night and the following day, helping me find a great lender (one that could get me pre-approved for a loan on a Saturday night) and prepare an offer that would have a shot of being accepted in Golden's super competitive market. These guys really know how to get it done! After the offer was accepted Andy checked in with me all the time over the next month, making sure I was informed and always at least one step ahead so there were no surprises. I never had an issue reaching him if I needed to, which was rare anyway because of how proactive he was at keeping me up to date! I have heard some horror stories about how hard it is to buy a home, especially in this area. I feel very lucky that I had such a great and successful experience. Andy and the whole Verleger team are simply the best when it comes to finding and landing the home you want in Golden or the foothills area. Andy exceeded all of our expectations for a realtor. We were referred to him by a work colleague, but had never met before working together. This was our first home purchase, and Andy did so ma ny things to make it a positive experience. First, he took the time to educate us about the current real estate market - what to expect and how to navigate listings and showings. Importantly, he listened and learned what we were looking for, rather than trying to fit us into the existing market. He didn't let us settle when we were at showings, and made sure we weren't talking ourselves into a home that really wasn't for us. When we did find the right place, he arranged to move this showing up our list, to make sure we didn't miss it. We were in very close contact during the time we were discussing an offer, and he went the extra mile to search previous sales in that neighborhood to assure us that the offered price was not too high, and importantly, not too low that we'd end up in a bidding war. Andy went above and beyond what a normal realtor would have done in the purchase of my first investment home / property in Evergreen. I knew the second I toured the property with Andy that this was the perfect match and wanted to get started right away. There were many things wrong with the property lines, easements, well and part of driveway on neighbor's property, etc and Andy went to great lengths to come to agreements with the seller and help figure out and decipher all of these obstacles and challenges that stood in the way. He even went down to the Jefferson county office with me to try to get a better understanding of what was going on with the property lines and minor adjustment with the neighbor. These things needed to be done before my lender would approve the loan. At this point I cannot recall all of obstacles that stood in the way of making this deal happen, but there were more than 20 major issues with this troubled property. All in all it was a very rough deal for a realtor to have to navigate with but Andy stayed very cool and professional during the whole process. Andy is very familiar with the area, what is and isn't feasible, and what we needed to do as first-time home buyers to get under contract. Most importantly he knew what the status of the market was at the time we were looking. Knowing this we were able to communicate on what needed to be in our offer in order to get the house. This was the most important part to us because it meant he wasn't willing to just go throw any offer out, but rather to put in the ones that have a good chance and will get us what we want. I have worked with Andy twice now. First time was to purchase a condo in Westminster. He was more than willing to take me to look at any property I wanted to view.
