About Angela

Angela is one half of the Dayton Butler Team at Helen Adams Realty. She and her team partner Lauren share a love for people, a passion for local market knowledge, and a dedication to providing the highest level of personal service to each and every client. As a team they strive to make each transaction fun and easy while always keeping their client's needs at the forefront.

Originally from South Africa, Angela relocated to Charlotte with her family in 1984 and it has been her home ever since. After graduating from Charlotte Country Day School, she attended College of Charleston and UNC-G receiving a BS in Nutrition, and later a master’s degree from Winthrop University. After 15 years of working in Nutrition, she decided to pursue a career in Real Estate. With three generations of her family involved in the real estate industry, the decision to make this switch was a natural one.

Angela joined Helen Adams Realty and spent 6 years as a licensed Broker then, in 2015, joined Alan Simonini Homes where her focus was on custom homes and luxury neighborhood sales. Now back at "home" at Helen Adams Realty and doing what she loves most as a Broker, Angela brings a wealth of knowledge to her clients in the areas of residential transactions, neighborhood development, and new home construction.

Angela and her husband have two children and currently reside in SouthPark.
