Angela was born in a tiny Canadian prairie town of 500 people and quickly started adventuring through life via work in the fashion industry. Her travels first brought her to the French Canadian city of Montreal, then San Francisco and now Los Angeles. She began a path of entrepreneurship early on, starting her first fashion brand at age 16, which funded her Bachelors degree in Human Ecology from the University of Manitoba. Throughout the years she formed multiple companies in the fields of fine art, fashion and home product design, the longest standing of which was Norwegian Wood, a design/manufacturing firm and her main career for 17 years. This company has now shifted into Home Staging and Interior Design to help support her real estate clients needs. The move into real estate has marked an exciting new era, bringing together her love of connecting with people, problem solving and design.
The juxtaposition of rural and urban has been a constant theme in her life, allowing for a deep appreciation of a variety of lifestyles and personalities. Understanding both what it's like to have deep roots in a place as well as the feeling of being the "new kid in town" gives Angela a unique perspective and appreciation for her clients' needs. Buying or selling your home can bring up core emotions; her aim is to help you navigate every step of that process seamlessly with patience, empathy, efficiency and organization.
When she's not working Angela enjoys gardening, renovating the fixer-upper she bought with her husband in 2017, abstract painting, antiquing and working with the Boston Buddies dog rescue. She lives in the San Fernando Valley with her husband and their most recent foster fail, a Boston Terrier/Frenchie mix named Lizzie.
