Angie Montgomery is the Managing Broker of the AveryHess, Realtors® office in Rockville, Maryland. She has been in the industry for 11 years, and has managed the Rockville office for the past four years.
After relocating to the DC area from California, Angie decided she was through with the rigors of corporate structure. She wanted a career that allowed her to have the flexibility to travel, work on passion projects, and more importantly, spend more time with her family.
With the support of her loving husband, Angie used the skills she learned during her time with the Walt Disney Company to transition into real estate, where she built her business one referral at a time.
As Managing Broker, Angie is passionate about creating a collaborative environment for her team. In her mind, it is essential that the office be a space where like-minded people come together to share ideas, support each other, and provide a fresh perspective on the various challenging scenarios that she and her team often find themselves facing.
Angie believes that being disciplined is the key to thriving in an ever-evolving industry. Her advice to every agent, whether they are new to the business or looking to take their business to the next level, is to arm themselves with a strong business plan, generate leads by doing the activities that keep them inspired and excited, and to read motivating books to keep themselves enthusiastic and fueled.
