1981 I moved to Encinitas to raise my children, then started my real estate career in 1984. For the past 40+ years, I have been a full-time real estate agent and REALTOR. For 15 years, I was the DRE Broker of Record at Sea Coast Exclusive Properties, where I managed all aspects of the business, including an escrow division, 150 agents, training, quality control, risk management, problem-solving, and customer service, all included in the day-to-day operations.
In 2009, I was honored by the North San Diego County Association of REALTORS (NSDCAR) as their REALTOR OF THE YEAR. There is only 1 REALTOR selected each year out of almost 5,000 REALTOR members. I served two terms on the NSDCAR Board of Directors and was our NSDCAR Board of Directors President in 2015. For 17 years, I was a Director for the California Association of REALTORS (C.A.R.). I served in many areas, including Chair for Region 29 (NSDCAR) and on Membership, Property Management, Common Interest Development, Investment Housing, Home Ownership Housing, Affordable Housing, Taxation, Legislation, Federal Issues, and Equal Opportunity and Cultural Diversity.
I continue to serve our professional real estate community by being an active member and participant of our NSDCAR PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS COMMITTEE by sitting on hearing panels for complaints, arbitration, and mediation.
I am proud to help solve problems and maintain high standards for our profession and the buyers and sellers that we serve. Some personal highlights include my three children, my four grandchildren, and my three years as CIF High School and Southern California Junior Olympic champion on the trampoline. I am also a Point Loma High School graduate and cheerleader!
