Anna Coatsworth

A New Yorker for three decades with an extensive background in business and finance, Anna is a trusted advisor to a diverse range of buyers and sellers throughout New York City. Anna has a deep knowledge of the city and 25+ years of firsthand experience in the local real estate industry. She is one of a select few agents with an Ivy League MBA, which she earned from Columbia University. She also holds a B.A. in History and M.A. in International Relations from New York University.

After working as a senior marketing associate in equity research at an investment bank, Anna progressed through a series of leadership roles in finance and consulting. Her work advising senior executives at Fortune 500 companies has prepared her for the rigorous standards and expectations of her sophisticated clientele. Anna’s clients, which include young professionals, families, empty-nesters, pied-a-terre buyers, estate sales and local and international investors, also value her deep knowledge of New York City’s history, architecture, and diversity. She views real estate as the glue that connects the city and thrives on the opportunity to participate in its constantly changing skyline.

Originally from Chicago, where she was a professional ballet dancer, Anna has been a Manhattan homeowner since 1993. She is a member of the board of directors of her co-op on the Upper West Side and is also on the board of the Tom Gold Dance company. She is a founder and co-chair of the Columbia Business School Women's Circle, a member of the Columbia Business School Hermes Society Leadership Circle and Columbia Business School Real Estate Circle. She is on the Advisory Council for Common Sense Media and a supporter of many local community and arts organizations, including the Central Park Conservancy and Food Bank for New York City.
