Anna was the perfect agent for us first-time homebuyers. She made us feel like her only clients (even though she was juggling others) and was quick to act when we spotted a home online that we wanted to see. Anna goes above and beyond to build relationships with the sellers agents as a way to give us an edge among the competition and get much-needed intel. Anna has your best interest at heart, especially when you are weighing making an offer that is also a wise investment on a home. She's the agent you want by your side when you're stressed out about making one of life's biggest decisions AND when you celebrate an accepted offer on your dream home!

Anna was a wonderful partner in our first time home buying experience. She was extremely knowledgeable about the South Bay area. She took the time to explain the process to us clearly and kept our preferences in mind as we were looking at homes. She was able to navigate the complexity of trying to buy a house during the pandemic and a crazy housing market and we are so happy to have closed on our dream home! Anna is personable, responsive, and has a great reputation which actually helped us get our offer accepted in a competitive situation. She was a valuable partner during the closing process and kept everything on track so things ran smoothly. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a home and especially first time home buyers - she is wonderful!

Working with Anna was an amazing experience. She is very organized and attentive. Anna answered all of our questions, helped us get quotes, and was very transparent on the whole transaction. Anna was hands down the best realtor we’ve ever worked with. Our timeline changed dramaticaly during our search and we needed to find a house in about two weeks. She advised us in stressful situations (like competing with 25 offers on one house)! In the end we found our perfect dream home and Anna was with us every step of the way. What we love about Anna is that she is in constant contact with us, always responds promptly, and is so personable! She’s also very knowledgeable about the Pasadena/Altadena area and gave us so many tips on neighborhoods, schools, local restaurants, and so much more! We've been in our house for a year now, and we're continually thankful for owning a house at this point in time. And we're also incredibly thankful for all of Anna's work in getting us our house.

While we had some second-hand experience in the home buying process, it was very helpful having Anna walk us through everything. She was very knowledgeable in the area and was always very organized when we would meet with her to discuss our options and next steps. She was able to tailor the homes she would show us based on what we were looking for (and also not looking for!) so we were able to limit the number of times we had to go between open houses. This was very helpful for us with our then-2 year old!

Once we did find our house, Anna gathered as much information about the seller and her motivations for selling. We were able to use this information to craft an offer letter that spoke to the seller's reasons for selling and desired buyers. She also took the time to include a small gift with the offer. I mention this because it was this attention to detail and "extra care" that actually caused the seller to stop flipping through the offers that had been submitted and actually read ours. The seller then wanted us as buyers, even though we were not the highest offer. This extra effort really paid off.

Anna is very well prepared, knows the area, offers her honest opinion when asked, and is a lot of fun to work with. We are absolutely going to work with her again the next time we're looking for a home, and she'll be working with my in-laws in the near future!

Anna is everything you would want in an agent. She is very involved in the South Bay community, so she has an extensive network and truly knows the area. She is friendly, engaging, and proactive. She listens, pays impeccable attention to detail, and has excellent communication skills. She is incredibly patient, always had our best interests in mind, and made sure we felt completely comfortable from the beginning to the end of our home search.

As first-time homebuyers, this whole process was incredibly daunting. Anna provided us with multiple resources to guide us. As you can imagine, we had tons of questions. Anna took the time to answer each and every one and explained everything to our satisfaction.

Anna took us to many homes and refined her recommendations each weekend based on the feedback we gave. She called us one afternoon encouraging us to visit a house that we had previously viewed online but which, in our minds, did not meet our criteria. Based on Anna’s encouragement, we visited the house, and immediately realized she had found us our dream home.

Anna gave us advice on how to strengthen our offer and it was accepted within 24 hours. We had a very aggressive timeline for closing and Anna made sure everything stayed on track by working closely with all parties involved. Anna helped make what we thought was only a dream, a reality. We can’t recommend her enough!

My husband and I recently bought our first home with the help of Anna and we cannot recommend her enough. Anna is professional, warm, responsive, incredibly detail-oriented and prepared. We ended up putting an offer on a house we saw and began working very closely with her right from the start. From start to finish, we felt like we were in very capable hands and extremely prepared about the next steps. She also made sure we understood each of the contingency periods and what our rights were, while reiterating throughout the process that her ultimate goal was for us to find a home that we loved. Overall, she was incredibly helpful throughout the process and helped us save thousands.

Even after we were in our new home, she was helping us by sending us lists of vendors and recommendations for repairs. She even called many herself when we were quickly trying to have a fire pit issue resolved. She checked in with us on moving day, as well as a few days after to see if we needed anything. Buying a house can be a stressful experience but it was so comforting to have Anna by our side throughout the entire process. We would recommend her without hesitation.

We made the move from Toronto, Canada to Redondo Beach, California this past January which in itself is a big deal, and more so when you don’t have a clue about the area you are moving to.

It was with a huge sigh of relief when we met Anna Rivas who helped us to get to know the area as a local, with respect to mapping out various neighborhoods and the benefits of each.
In helping us find our dream home Anna listened to all the things that were important to us, and executed all with thoroughness, efficiency and great attention to detail.
In a matter of a week, Anna found us the perfect place with all the amenities we wanted!
Anna made (what could have been a stressful and daunting task), quick and painless.
Anna is a sweet, caring and very thoughtful person (she frequently sends us useful links about what is going on in the area, activities that our kids might like to try and has been an invaluable resource with respect to best doctors/dentists/hair stylists in the area). We have learned so much about the neighborhood from her that we feel like we’ve been living here for years instead of two months.
Professionally, Anna is a stand out agent. She has gone above and beyond the requirements of a real estate agent. Her attention to detail is incredible (ie: when it came to fixes that had to be taken care of before taking possession of our property), she noticed things I would never have seen and communicated all to the owner to get repaired. Her effective way of communicating didn’t go unnoticed when Anna also had to liaise with the owner to get certain documents in order that we were not familiar with coming from another country.
I highly recommend Anna Rivas for your real estate needs, she has your back and it is apparent that she loves the work she does. We were so fortunate to meet Anna and if it weren’t for her, we would never have found our ‘slice of paradise ‘.
