Growing up she attended public schools in Charlotte before studying Elementary Education at Elon University. Anne Carroll has had a remarkable career as a kindergarten teacher in both public and private schools in Charlotte (Elizabeth Lane in Matthews, Dilworth Elementary, and Trinity Episcopal School in uptown Charlotte) during the last 12 years, and has made a lasting impact on children and families across the area.

After a successful career working with children and families, Anne Carroll decided to take her energy and strengths in relationship management, problem solving, and visioning into real estate, joining Helen Adams Realty in December 2020.
