Annie Coleman developed her passion for buildings while spending part of her childhood living in a Frank Lloyd Wright house on his block in Oak Park. That foundational experience developed an admiration for the importance of how spaces function and flow, as well as for how considered design choices give a space its character.
Annie began her real estate career in 2005 after gut renovating the six-flat where LivingRoom’s office resides in Noble Square. This process provided an in-depth knowledge about buildings from the inside out. She founded LivingRoom Realty to create a service-oriented real estate company that values great architecture and design, lifts the creative community, and provides top notch service. She loves helping clients navigate Chicago’s housing market, working with an awesome team, developing and hosting events, and steering the business to continue to grow in new and creative ways.
Prior to real estate Annie was an Associate Director implementing global technology projects at Swiss Bank/UBS, and she has an undergraduate degree in Music Business and Bassoon performance. She is a musician (with a honky tonk dance band) and a ceramicist, and loves spending time on her property, Red Clover Ranch, outside of Viroqua, Wisconsin.
