April Cook

With more than 14 years of real estate experience, April works with clients who want to buy or sell their home. Real estate transactions are a big investment. They can be confusing, even nerve-racking at times. April believes open communication and honesty prevents the opportunity for misinterpretations. She takes time to meet with her clients and to really listen to them, finding out what they need and what they want when buying or selling a home.

Helping clients get the keys to their new home is a rewarding and humbling experience, and she takes great pride in assisting all her clients with such an important milestone in their lives.
Her family ties to the Decatur area date back 4 generations where they owned a dairy farm by Black Creek Lake. The land, even though it has sold through the years, is still known by locals as the Ray/Claborn place. April keeps up with what is happening in the communities around her and is a member of the Decatur Chamber of Commerce where she is a chamber ambassador.
April and her husband have 3 grown children. They can be found hitting the ski slopes or relaxing at the beach/lake in their downtime.
