About Arlene

A native Californian, I have spent the last 28 years in the real estate industry; initially working in private money loans and investments with my father, then loans and finance with Huntington Mortgage in South Pasadena and NovaStar Mortgage in Riverside. My sales experience includes being a buyer’s agent with Windermere Real Estate and now I am pleased to have joined Mountain Country Realty as a Realtor handling both buyers and sellers. I have a business degree, worked in law offices and as a notary public. Real Estate Sales is what I always wanted to do full time, and now I am. in beautiful Lake Arrowhead.

I have been a Lake Arrowhead resident for 30 years, initially with a second home and now living here full time. I have enjoyed the activities of this small town atmosphere, having lake rights and discovering new trails to walk and hike. We were very fortunate to have met Arlene Smith in 2018. She sold our home in Lake Arrowhead in 5 days, and found us just the right home that met our needs. Arlene knows the ins and outs of real estate in Lake Arrowhead. She is very knowledgeable, knows the paperwork involved in purchasing or selling, a true professional, and was VERY patient with us as we we looked at so many homes.

She explains everything in an understable way. She goes the extra mile for her clients and certainly did for us. In our transactions she was on top of everything. Always answered our questions. Always offered to meet with necessary people during our escrow when we couldn't get there in time.
