As a new real estate agent in 1980, Art joined Township Reality in Upper Dublin Township, Montgomery County. In 1985, Art had achieved over $16 million in production in a single year, so it was not a surprise that he quickly achieved the title of Manager when AD&P bought Township Reality. He was named manager of the year four times during his tenure. He was named Regional Vice President of the Delaware Valley region in 1995. As Senior Vice President, Art brought together a team of 1,600 agents, built 21 offices, and created a top-ranking real estate company encompassing Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The Long&Foster region, under Art’s direction, did over $2 billion in sales in 2005. In 2018 Art and his group of agents did $240+ million in sales volume.
