Avery grew up on Capitol Hill in the heart of DC. After leaving for college in Los Angeles she had careers in theater, brain research at Johns Hopkins, and started and ran an e-commerce company before settling on real estate as the field best suited to her insatiable curiosity and love of helping people. In the first 6 years, Avery completed over 100 transactions across DC, Maryland and Virginia.
