I have dealt with numerous realtors over the years in multiple locations from the mountains to the seashore and I can say without reservation, that Barbara and Tony are the best that I have ever dealt with. I recently searched for property in the Lake Adger area that actually resulted in me buying a house there. Barbara and Tony were so great in helping me to locate suitable properties and helping me to negotiate a good price. Barbara and Tony are personable, highly intelligent, and are the consummate real estate professionals. You will not be disappointed!!

Unbelievably nice, honest and competent realtors! On top of the purchase the whole time, didn't let anything slip through the cracks. No high pressure either. I highly recommend Barbara and Tony. When/if I ever buy or sell real estate in the area again, they will undoubtedly be my GoTo realtors! A+++++

"My husband and I immediately liked Tony and Barbara. They were friendly, down to earth, engaging, good listeners and very professional all at the same time. They have many many years of experience in the business and that was obvious as they were able to always answer our questions and successfully handle several difficult situations with potential buyers before our home sold. We were completely satisfied- more than- with their work. They helped us tremendously in not having to bear the burden of responsibility for the home while it was listed- we left them with the house keys and they took care of literally everything else. They even helped us with minor house repairs and clean ups to be done on the property in our absence. All these things were truly a great blessing and we wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend them to anyone buying or selling a home- honestly. Their communication with us was excellent during the whole process. They are very respectful, not pushy, realtors and we enjoyed very much our experience with them- it was a pleasure."

I cannot recommend Tony and Barbara enough! They sat down with us and really took time to get to know our family and understand what we were looking for in a house. They were kind, patient, and thorough, explained every step of the buying process, and communicated quickly and clearly throughout. We have had not-so-great experiences with realtors in other areas in the past, but we found in Tony and Barbara down-to-earth, very competent professionals who could be completely trusted.

My husband and I just closed on our very first house. Home-buying has the potential to become overwhelming very quickly but ever-calm Barbara was there through all of it--the perfect blend of straight forward savviness and down-to-earth humor. They went above & beyond in helping me close on a home I bought in North Carolina even though I currently live on the West Coast of the United Stares. Not being a local resident, I had loads of questions on who to call for home inspections, homeowner’s insurance, pest inspections, etc. and they were wonderful at providing a list of resources for me…even helping me with ideas on where to get great furniture for my new home. I highly recommend Barbara & Tony for all of your real estate needs! They are highly experienced, have the greatest integrity and truly care about their clients. I’ll choose the Claussen-Walters Team for all my future real estate transactions!

I am thrilled to write in praise of Barbara Claussen. In all of my years of buying, selling and moving, I have never experienced a realtor like her. I was quite jaded about realtors and didn't even realize that realtors could be this wonderful.

Without a doubt, Barbara exceeded my expectations and I felt like I had won the lottery having her on my side. She is honest, knowledgeable, professional and she always made me feel as if I was her top priority. This sale was by no means a huge financial windfall for her nor was it an easy one, but she treated it as if was top sale of her career. I felt confident knowing I had Barbara representing me in all of the negotiations.

Barbara brought a personal touch that I have never seen from other agents. She steered me through some major pitfalls and saved me considerable money. I am still amazed at the service I received. I highly recommend her.

Barbara Claussen was my agent when I was looking for an investment property in North Carolina. She was wonderful throughout the entire process! With her professionalism and attention to detail, all of the inspections, etc. went smoothly and we closed right on time without any problems or delays. Because I was buying a home that I planned to rent out fully furnished and I don't actually live in the area where the home is located, Barbara used her resources to point me in the right direction to find great deals on furniture. She went above & beyond the call of duty to make sure I had everything I needed and our tenants moved into the house one week after closing.
