About Barbara

Barbara’s entry into real estate began 16 years ago after doing high tech marketing for Microsoft and then various high-tech startups. Ready for a change and a new career path, Barbara decided to pursue her interest in real estate. She said,” I have always had an interest in real estate particularly because I had an unbelievably unpleasant experience with an unscrupulous real estate broker which caused a lot of hardship to me and my family. I learned a lot from that experience, and I knew I could contribute what I have learned to homebuyers and home sellers in a far more positive manner than I experienced.”

Barbara raised four children (and looks forward to being a grandmother…hint, hint) and is admittedly a sucker for a stray animal. Her firm supports Watermelon Mountain Ranch – a no kill shelter in the area.

Barbara chose to live in the East Mountain area just east of Albuquerque, for the quiet and beauty. The weather is always about 10 degrees cooler which translates into “snow”, but the snow does not really last long. Her office is in Albuquerque, and she lists all over the metro area, so she knows the various cities and areas well.
