Barrett Sandefur

Barrett is a native Texan, growing up right outside Austin in Round Rock, Texas. After completing high school in Round Rock, he moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University where he studied marketing and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. During his college career, Barrett studied abroad for a semester outside Venice, Italy where he met his now wife, Diane. After graduating, he spent the next few years in south Florida, but he and his wife quickly knew they wanted to be in Austin and have been back since.

It was not until Barrett went through the experience of being a new home buyer himself that his passion for real estate developed. Throughout the entire process, he was disappointed his realtor was not more of an advocate and in retrospect now knows he was not well-represented. Barrett knew there was a better way to represent clients and keep their best interest in mind; from there he decided to make real estate his career. With his local knowledge of the real estate market, passion for Austin and marketing background, it seemed like a perfect fit. Barrett prides himself on being proactive and truly enjoys educating his clients throughout the buying or selling of their home. With over $50M sold in real estate in his career, Barrett has cemented himself as a top Realtor in Austin and the surrounding areas.

When he is not working, Barrett enjoys family time with his wife and daughter, snowboarding, traveling, and golf. Golf is a passion of his, and he competes in many local and state tournaments while playing just enough to maintain a scratch handicap.
