Barri did a terrific job at every stage of the process of selling our house in Englewood Cliffs. At the "interview" stage, she gave us more and better information on the strategy and planning needed to achieve the best sale price on a short schedule. She then helped us make educated decisions about how to get the house ready for the market. While Barri cautioned us along the way that she could not guaranty that her proposed strategy would go just as planned, just about every item she forecasted came true. As a result, we were able to sell our house quickly and at a higher price than we expected. The comfort this gave us was invaluable. And she continued to help us at every stage: from thinking about selling, to strategizing and preparing, to putting the house on the market, to showing the house, through the bidding and contract process, and all the way to the closing. Barri has been our agent on two houses now. We bought our first house with her years ago in Englewood Cliffs. She is so knowledgeable about real estate in this area so I had no hesitation in reaching out to her when we decided to start looking for a house in the Closter/Demarest/Cresskill area. She was quick to show us a few houses in all of those towns so we could get a feel for the type of homes and each town. Barri has an amazing ability to figure out what her client wants. She asks the right questions. When showing us homes, she would be honest about the pros and cons and was not pushy but was also realistic about the current market and the fact that we couldn’t wait too long to make a decision. I would definitely recommend Barri if you’re looking for a home in this area!

UPDATED 5/20/2022: Barri has now been our agent for 3 houses. We recently sold our home in Englewood Cliffs and had no hesitation calling Barri. Barri helped us from beginning to end, starting with advising us on how to best present our home to maximize its value. She walked through our home and gave us advice as to how to make things “better”, ranging from advice on how to remove hard water stains to staging of furniture. She was practical in her suggestions and we never felt like we had to do anything, but we trusted her guidance, her experience and the process. Barri told us what we needed to do to prepare the house for photographs. She brought in a professional photographer and videographer who were efficient and produced beautiful photos and video of the home. The listing went up within a week and the open house shortly thereafter. We had discussed how to price the house and we evaluated the local market to come to a listing price we were happy with. Again, Barri gave us her opinion but ultimately it was our decision. We received multiple offers within 2 days of the open house and we were in contract within a week! To make things even better, several offers were over the asking price. The contract negotiations were smooth and Barri was invaluable in helping discuss certain issues with buyers’ agent. She is honest and straightforward and knows how to focus on the important issues. I attribute that to her years of experience working in the industry and in particular the local area. She has always been a pleasure to work with and we would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an experienced, responsive and professional agent!

Barri is truly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and professional. She helped us navigate through many details we didn’t know how to deal with on our own and land into the home of our dreams. We cannot imagine how the search and buying process would have been without Barri.

We had a general idea at the beginning of our house search coming from NYC; however, she helped us narrow down the options by understanding what our needs and wants were - which seemed like a lot and complicated. That process saved us time and led us to the perfect house for our family.

We always felt she had our best interest at heart and was truly representing us as our agent. She went above and beyond to show us homes of prior clients before they were listed and preconstruction homes with a builder. We could see she has great rapport and respect with her prior clients, builders, and other agents.

Once the coronavirus pandemic started it became harder to look at homes and the market dynamics began shifting. Because Barri had done such a thorough job exhausting all the options within our parameters we already had a good idea of what was available and she expertly helped us quickly close.
