Barry Mertz

After practicing law for 4 years, Barry made a career change into the field of commercial real estate. He joined the staff of Hart Corporation, a national real estate firm, headquartered in Southampton, PA, specializing in industrial real estate. He went on to become a managing partner for the Trammell Crow Company. In 1980, Barry started his own company, and over the years he has grown this company to its status today as one of the largest and most successful full service commercial real estate brokerage firms in the Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey Metro area.

Celebrating over 25 years of service, NAI Mertz is one of the most professional companies in the area, with more brokers holding their SIOR designation than its competitors. The company, headquartered in Mt. Laurel, NJ, now has offices in Philadelphia and Bucks County, PA, and with affiliate offices in Wilkes-Barre, PA and Ft. Myers, Florida. Altogether his staff totals 39 including 28 sales staff.

Barry has been a leader over the years in many local and national real estate organizations, and he is currently serving a fourth term on the Leadership Board of NAI. Twice NAI Mertz has been the recipient of the Eagle Award from NAI for outstanding service and leadership.
