Sold house in less than 2 weeks!! He gave us tips on what to do to the house in order to help it sell quicker....how to arrange furniture to make rooms look bigger, etc. He helped us come up with a pricing plan. My experience with Bart was exactly what I wanted. He made it clear from the start that he would move at my pace and my comfort level. He is very busy because he is in high demand, but he always made me feel important. He did things to meet my specific needs that I have never seen done. He made multiple trips to show things to my family on numerous occasions even after the sale was in process for my comfort. He NEVER pressured me in any way and that is what I needed. Through our process I came to trust his judgement without question and it resulted in me getting the dream house for a great price. I will and have recommended him to anyone that needs his services. The first meeting with him I told him I had bought houses before and never had a sold sign to have a photo with and I would like that. Before we listed our house Bart came over and suggested things we could do to help speed up the sale of our home. He never made us feel like we HAD to make these updates to sell, so there was no pressure, but we went on and made the updates he suggested. While we were working on these updates Bart never made us feel rushed or overwhelmed us with emails or calls, but he didn't disappear completely either - he asked us how we were coming along and kept in touch just enough. When we were ready to list our home Bart was professional and fast in getting the home on the market. And we were extremely happy when the first people Bart showed the house to made an offer. When it came time for us to look at houses to buy Bart was extremely knowledgeable of all the areas we were looking. We also were looking into building a home and Bart was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to the logistics of that process. He was also very patient with us as we changed our mind several times during the whole process of looking for our dream home. We finally found our dream home and Bart made sure that our offer was in fast and helped us to come up with an offer the sellers couldn't refuse. Above all Bart was real with us. He wasn't over selling himself or trying to get us to buy a home we didn't want. He was real. He gave us his honest opinion and he listened and respected our opinions. Bart was absolutely amazing! We received an email and phone call shortly after submitting inquiry. The house we wanted to see was only on the market for a month and we saw it within a couple days of inquiry. We immediately put in our offer and after them accepting we closed in less than a months time. Ten days later we were in our home. As first time home buyers, we were very apprehensive about the entire process. However, after contacting Bart, immediately my nerves began to settle as he helped us work through the process. From our first meeting he took the time to not only understand our short term plan with immediate occupancy needs, but also to understand our long term goals so as to make suggestions that would be in line with those. We saw several homes through the month long search, and he gladly made accommodations to meet our every need. He allowed us to make our own decisions but he would also let us know the potential concerns if we we charmed by a particular house. Through the offer process he helped move on exactly the house we wanted and helped secure the contract, even while we faced the potential of another buyer placing an offer. Bart was masterful in working through the process from contract to close; his work kept my stress level at a relative minimum, which was critical in my decision making. Finally now that I am plus a month and a half after closing, I couldn't be happier with my decision of purchasing this house. Bart was a real pleasure to work with. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and best of all honest about the entire home buying process. He was always available to show us homes and anytime we wanted to view a house on the fly, he would have it set up within a day or two of our request. He always kept in mind what was most important to us regarding the neighborhoods, schools, etc. Bart always returned our phone calls and emails in a timely manner and I never once felt like I was left on the backburner. In fact I bugged him quite often with inquiries about things that I probably should have figured out myself and he always came through. There are not enough good things I can say about Bart. I was having trouble getting a response from an agent. Within a day of contacting Bart he had responded. He's good enough to be picky about his clients, but if you are able to work with him you will understand why. My husband and I are military and we had to relocate to KY because of his job. I found a house I liked on here and contacted the listing agent (Bart) about it. From that point on he made sure I knew how buying a house works (we were first time home buyers) and I never felt like he would let me down or screw me over. When it was time to look at houses, he worked with us to show them when we were randomly in town and knew right away the things I liked and didn't like. He never tried to convince me of something and I was never worried he would push something on me I wasn't completely in love with. When we finally did find something, Bart was so helpful with how the next steps would be. Unfortunately we chose to use USAA for our mortgage loan, instead of the person he suggested, because we thought they would work best with us because we are military. We couldn't have been more wrong. It was a nightmare using USAA and the ONLY highlight of the situation was Bart Medlock. He was on our side the whole time, and he went head to head with USAA on multiple occasions for us, even though the processor I was assigned to refused to talk with him. I couldn't imagine getting through that nightmare without Bart. He honestly looks out for his clients and he will do everything he can to make sure you are getting everything you deserve. We had spent over a year preparing our older home for sale. We then priced aggressively to move our property quickly during the summer. Despite a buyer's market we had two worthy offers to choose between in the first week (I think this perhaps was a record even for Bart). Bart is very responsive and does what he says he is going to very promptly. It felt like we were his only clients (though I know that was not true). He has a positive attitude and (appropriate) sense of humor that helped when things got stressful at times. As a first time homebuyer, there was a lot about the home buying process that I didn't know. Bart was so knowledgable about everything and made the process enjoyable. First we went over what realistically my house was worth. He explained that the house will bring what the market will bear. He showed me recent houses that sold in my area and we based my selling price on the hard numbers not emotional gibberish. I needed to sell my house and buy one within just a couple months. To make a long story short, we sold mine, bought the new house and closed on the same day on both houses all within 2 months. We first met Bart quite by chance as his posting was at a home we were interested in and his response time was fantastic. Just to let you know, this is our 14th home purchase (so, suffice it to say, we understand how good and bad a realtor experience can be) Bart listens well, puts himself in our place and presents options in a clear and concise manner....He clearly became an advocate of our wants rather than simply to create a sale for himself. When it came time to make an offer (did I say we were traveling so our time was limited?), I asked Bart to join us in an unconventional approach....he did so with much support and enthusiasm.....and to great success as well. When we started shopping for a home we knew to call Bart. We have had many friends recommend him to us. He put us in touch with the right person in order to get our finances together and to truly understand what we could afford. I am a veteran, and i bought a house through Bart Medlock around a month before I deployed to Afghanistan. The whole process besides me viewing the house was done across the country, and I still don't know exactly how it went so smooth. While I was deployed, Bart sent me care packages for myself and my troops. I had to remind myself sometimes that I wasn't his only client, because that's how he made me feel. Bart earned our business for as long as we live in this area and we would recommend him to anyone looking to buy, sell, or both. We found Bart on Zillow and contacted him based on the positive comments made by his past clients. Our first meeting with Bart lasted close to 2 hours as he happily answered all of the questions we had for him. During that meeting, he did a great job of explaining, in detail, the entire home buying process. This was invaluable to us as first time home buyers. Bart also helped connect us with other professionals in his network (in particular, a lender), who we were very pleased with. One concern we had early on was the quantity of clients Bart works with at any given time (both sellers and buyers), but this did not once have an effect on our experience. Based on his responsiveness, it seemed to us as though we were his only clients.

Bart Medlock was recommended to me by a very close friend and after a long search for a house I fully understand why he gave Bart such a high recommendation. Bart was extremely knowledgeable of the area we would be looking in. I could call him anytime for a house or two to look at and he would even pick a few he felt were good houses that fit was I was looking for. The house I ended up buying was actually one of the ones he took me on his own to see. He was never pushy on me buying a house and was always filling my head with good knowledgeable information. Bart was there till the end of the closing and I know I could call him up right now if I needed anything even if it wasn't house related. We closed on our house recently and are very satisfied with the price, seller repairs and Bart's help. We can say that Bart is honest, experienced and trustworthy.
