Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Becky attended the Episcopal School of Dallas and graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Advertising. She has worked in marketing and advertising and most recently is honing her skills as an abstract artist.

Becky has two daughters who attend Highland Park High school. Becky is a member of The Junior Group of the Marianne Scruggs Garden Club, Highland Park Highschool PTA, volunteers for Meals on Wheels, and is an active member with Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
