I was a first-time home buyer, in a completely new town for me, DeLand, FL. Bee was helpful from the start. I gave her a list of houses, and she quickly set up an itinerary for us to see all of the houses. After a day of visiting houses, and realizing that I was not exactly sure what I wanted, Bee was able to determine the type of house that would fit my needs by asking me important questions and listening to what my concerns were with each house we visited. Bee has been a wonderful realtor guiding us through the process of buying our first home. We contacted Bee after reading her Zillow reviews and an unprofessional experience with another realtor who was completely unresponsive. Bee immediately emailed back and has remained very communicative since our first interactions. We live in New York and Bee helped navigate the entire long distance home buying process. When we saw a house we loved on Zillow, she went to the open house and took extra pictures for us. We flew down that week and Bee rearranged her schedule to show us houses that very weekend. When we arrived, the seller of the house we had flown down to see could not be found. Bee drove around town knocking on doors and following leads until she located the seller's handyman who was able to get us into the house. Without her extra effort, we may not have found our house that weekend. Bee is on top of things, great at communicating via phone and email, and trustworthy-- she is currently holding our house keys until we arrive in DeLand. Two years ago Bee Powell helped me purchase a house for my son, a 3rd year student at Stetson University. We found a perfect location within a five minute walk to campus. During my son's stay Bee and her team helped Matt with repairs from her list of trusted and qualified contractors, and even recommended a cleaning lady to make sure my investment in the house would be preserved from the impact of four college guys. Three month's before Matt graduated, Bee guided him through the process of staging, making repairs and having the house professionally photographed so that it could be placed in the best possible light. We even rented a POD to place all bikes, beat up couches and cinder block book shelves that college kids use for furniture. Once the website launched and the house was listed, she was quickly able to qualify a young couple seeking to return to Deland FL near the Stetson University Campus. I will work with Bee again. We hired Bee because we saw her at another house down the street over and over again. This house had been for sale for a very long time. We agreed at that time that she must be working really hard to sell that house. When we found out it sold we called Bee. I contacted 4 different realtors in the area to try to get information and listings on possible homes for me to purchase. Out of the 4 , no response from one.
