Ben is guided by integrity, dedication, and a genuine commitment to his clients and community. With over 20 years of full-time real estate experience, Ben has successfully helped hundreds of clients buy and sell homes throughout northern Colorado, including the Front Range and Steamboat Springs markets. His success is built on expert market knowledge, exceptional service, and powerful, results-driven marketing strategies.

Originally from Chicago, Ben earned his BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign before moving to Colorado in 2002 with his wife. He began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in 2005, later founding Kapital Real Estate, Inc. in Fort Collins in 2009. In 2014, Ben sold his company, allowing him to focus entirely on serving his clients and elevating his craft as an agent.

As an agent with Steamboat Sotheby's, Ben’s marketing approach is distinguished by high-quality photography, professional video, and targeted online campaigns that reach thousands of potential buyers per listing. Known for his clear communication and strong negotiation skills, Ben ensures every client receives an unmatched level of attention and expertise. Ben offers property management services as well with over 15 years experience in that sub-market.

As a proud member of the Steamboat Springs community since 2018, Ben serves on the Board of SOAR (Serving Older Adults in Routt County, formerly Routt County Council on Aging) and volunteers regularly delivering Meals on Wheels. His dedication to giving back reflects the same passion he brings to his profession.

When not working with clients, Ben enjoys skiing, playing poker, disc and ball golf, fine wine, great food, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his wife and their two children Henry and Rilyn, and their angel puppy Josie. He embodies the Colorado lifestyle—balancing hard work, family, and a love for the mountains and play!
