Benjamin Romer’s entrepreneurial spirit paved the path to real estate after nearly a decade of corporate experience in NYC with such companies as NBCUniversal, Presidio Network Solutions and most recently as Chief of Staff and Head of Investor Relations at Redburn Development Partners, Upstate New York’s current largest multifamily developer. At Redburn he was involved in more than $250 Million of real estate development and fund management, engaging with investors daily. He has been a NYS Licensed Salesperson since 2018, where he began his real estate career in New York City’s Luxury Market and has become an expert in Upstate New York Investment properties. Today he is a member of Field Realty, where he has built out their Commercial Real Estate team serving Investor Clients.
Most recently Ben closed on a 16-unit Value-Add Multifamily investment opportunity in Norfolk, VA and has several mixed-use development projects in the works in the Capital Region and across the country that range from ground-up Medical & Residential Development to Climate-Controlled Self-Storage and Industrial Warehouse assets.
Ben grew up in Niskayuna, where he now lives with his wife, daughter and their two dogs. He is a graduate of Union College where he majored in Economics and History as dual degree. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his growing family, hunting, fishing and golfing. He looks forward adding to the continued growth of the place he grew up.
