About Ben
A graduate of Eastern Illinois University in 1992 with a degree in Finance, my first job out of college brought me to Chicago to work as a stockbroker for a Wall Street based investment firm. Not long after, a great opportunity came along to transition into mortgage banking and ultimately to real estate investing/consulting.
After working with two R.E. developers on several successful projects in Chicago, Arizona, and Florida, I accepted a position as President of City-Suburban Realty, Inc., the internal real estate division of a Loop law firm. In utilizing the resources of the law firm and their expertise in real estate transactions, foreclosure, bankruptcy and procuring and coordinating short sale transactions, we were able to consistently provide the highest quality of service on every level.
My goal is to work with and educate both Clients and a team of Agents to identify the highest quality of "value-added" R.E. opportunities in the marketplace that included foreclosures, short-sales, valuation, financing and debt management, market trends and tax implications (1031 Exchange, pass throughs, vacancy and depreciation i.e.), all of which help maximize the benefits of owning real estate.
