Benjamin Barshay

In 2003, Benjamin became a founding member of the Manhattan Associations of Realtors (MANAR) the local chapter of the National Association (NAR). Through MANAR, he further developed his management skills as a Certified Residential Brokerage Manager (CRB). Benjamin’s participation with the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) started concurrently. He recognized the importance of creating a REBNY committee faithful to the voice of sole practitioners & boutique firms. In 2004, he founded the SFC Committee with over 150 member firms achieving a powerful voice at REBNY. Currently, at REBNY Benjamin is Co-Chair of the SFC and in 2017 was elected to the Residential Board of Directors. He serves as an Arbitrator for members with transactional disputes. Additionally, he is a New York State Qualified Real Estate Instructor.
