About Bernard

BJ was raised in the Decatur area since he was four years old, and has been in the community ever since. His father was in charge of the Macon County Farm Bureau so they were very involved in the local farming community.

He and his wife raised two kids that were in the Maroa Forsyth school system. Through those years he served in several volunteer capacities such as the Forsyth Youth League, Decatur Youth Hockey Association, and also helped to found the Central Illinois Girls Hockey Association.

BJ enjoys running on a daily basis and participates in several races from 5k's to ultra-marathons every year. He is a member of the Decatur Running Club

BJ has been in a sales role for the last 25 years, where he has learned that response time and follow-up are key to a happy customer experience.
