About BERTHA
Professional Biography
With over 22 years of experience as a Realtor and Broker Associate serving the High Desert area, I proudly guide buyers and sellers with confidence, integrity, and professionalism. My strong background in finance, lending, and customer service allows me to support my clients through every step of their real estate journey with clarity and expertise.
Before beginning my real estate career, I built a solid foundation in the finance industry. From 2000 to 2003, I worked at Countrywide Home Loans in La Cañada Flintridge, California. Prior to that, from 1994 to 2000, I worked at American General Finance, an experience I consider my true “university.” There, I learned all aspects of finance—including insurance sales, auto loans, DMV documentation, and collections—developing a deep understanding of financial responsibility and client service.
During this same period, I attended Moro Beauty College and successfully passed my California state exam in July 1997. My dedication to personal and professional growth has always driven me to expand my knowledge and skills.
Determined to pursue my passion for real estate, I attended Century 21 Real Estate School in Burbank, California, and passed my California Real Estate Salesperson exam in August 1999. That marked the beginning of a career I continue to love and cherish today.
Earlier in my professional journey, I worked at Condor Driving School from 1992 to 1994. My very first sales experience began at Alfonso’s Furniture, where from 1988 to 1992 I sold furniture and managed the finance department. Those early years taught me the importance of responsibility, strong customer service, and professionalism—values I still carry with me today.
My story in the United States began on November 1, 1986, when I arrived in Glendale, California. Starting from zero, I worked full-time while attending Glendale Community College to learn a new language and build the foundation for a new life and career. Every step of that journey shaped who I am today—grateful, dedicated, and deeply committed to serving my community.
I am also a proud mother of two daughters who grew up in this business. My oldest partnered with me for 10 years and now runs her own path in real estate. Real estate is not just my profession—it is a career I truly love and enjoy, and I am honored to help families achieve their dreams of homeownership.
