She began her training by earning a Bachelors Degree with majors in both Marketing and Real Estate at the University of Cincinnati. In 1991 she moved to Charlotte, NC and began her career as a mortgage loan originator. Next she spent 8 years working on-site sales for a local builder before transitioning into general brokerage in 2001. In 2003 Beth created Pihl Realty, Inc., which she continues to own, operate and manage as Broker-in-charge.

The Pihl family moved to Lake Norman in 2005. As a Realtor, she rose to the top 5% of all ERA agents in the US for several years. In 2009 Beth joined Southern Homes of the Carolinas, a rapidly growing firm that is now the leading real estate firm in the area.
