Betty Waung is a veteran realtor in Palos Verdes and South Bay. She has just moved from Re/Max Estate Properties to join Keller William Palos Verdes Realty and the Stephen Haw Group. Betty graduated from The University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering. After 18 years in the engineering field at Union Carbide, Fluor Engineering & Construction and The Gas Company, Betty works in real estate to help people find a new home and ensure a smooth relocation.
Betty is very involved with the local communities. In addition to working, she volunteers for the Palos Verdes Chamber of Commerce, the Trojan League of South Bay and the USC Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta as well as local non-profit organizations.
Betty has done event photography for the USC chapter of Gamma Phi Beta, of which she is an alumnae member, the Palos Verdes Chamber of Commerce, and was the official photographer for Palos Verdes High School’s Booster Club. She has also worked with non-profit organizations such as the Healthcare and Elder Law Programs (H.E.L.P.), The Volunteer Center’s Operation Teddy Bear program and Pediatric Therapy Network.
Betty’s rigorous approach in each transaction and love of people has contributed to her success in real estate. Her long-lasting friendships with her clients are a testament to her deep roots in the community and commitment to her clients.
