She understood what I was looking for and helped me find the right home, not just because of the price but for potential upside in a future resale. We weren't looking for a home when we accidentally stumbled into an open house Beverly was putting on, and we fell in love with the house immediately. Beverly worked with us to figure out if the house was within our price range and our options for the house we already own. The process was a long, difficult one, beyond any of our control. Everything that could have gone wrong, did. Beverly stuck by our sides, stayed positive, and did anything she could to keep us on the track to getting into our home. In the end, we got the house AND found a renter for ours and everything worked out perfectly! I needed a realtor who could not only sell my house, but sell the lifestyle and experience of living in a historic downtown neighborhood that added value to my house. In fact, I didn't choose another realtor who was a family friend based on the fact that she just didn't get it. Bev “got it” and ran with it. Within only 10 days of signing her as my realtor, I had six showings, an open house, and two offers, with one offer producing a “sold” sign in my yard for my asking price. Bev is down to earth, upbeat, and a straight shooter, so I knew that any potential buyer would feel comfortable with her and, therefore, feel relaxed enough to spend some extra time in my house and really get a feel for everything it had to offer. I truly believe that the combination of Bev’s experience in real estate, her contacts in the financing industry, and her personality were what successfully sold my home in 10 days, even in this difficult economy.
