The Broker, Bill McLaren, is a second-generation real estate professional. Following in the footsteps of his parents who were real estate professionals that served South Florida since the 1978, he continues to carry the family trade as both a Broker and full-time sales agent.
Bill McLaren graduated from Pine Crest Preparatory school in 1989 and attended Williams College with an academic scholarship, graduating in
1993. He then worked as a financial consultant for Marsh and McLennan LLC, specializing in bank mergers and financial compensation plans for top executives.
He started his real estate career in 1994 while working for Marsh and McLennan as he began handling the dissolution of bank-owned assets. Getting a taste for real estate, he transitioned to the residential sector working with multiple bank and government asset managers, and ultimately taking these skills and applying them to the residential real estate sector.
Bill brings a wide range of experience to real estate field. He has renovated over 100 houses and apartment buildings, built multiple rental portfolios for himself and clients, and has been involved in the sales and negotiations of over 1,600 residential properties.
In spite of his calm demeanor, Bill is a highly skilled negotiator. He follows his father’s motto, “Handle the clients like they are family.” His approach to transactions is always handled with integrity and the firm belief that his clients built his family’s company. With that dedication he handles each transaction with the same care and diligence as if he were handling his own family’s transactions.
Having grown up in South Florida, he is familiar with the cities, neighborhoods, and trends necessary to assist his clients in making informed decisions. As his practice continues to grow, Bill has expanded his team to multiple realtors, each specializing in different aspects service and transactions.
