Bill Pelfrey Jr. was born in Floyd County, and has resided here since attending college at Georgia Southern and earning his Bachelors Degree. He and his wife Teresa have been married for 43 years and have two children and four grandchildren who are absolutely WONDERFUL! He is a 20+ year member and Past Master of Shannon Lodge 100.
Bill spent over 40 years with World HI-FI, the family business which many residents of the community used as the “go-to” source for all things electronic, which later expanded into home furnishings and decor. While operating the business Bill earned the Small Business of the Year from the Rome/Floyd Chamber of Commerce. - No small achievement!

He is a member of the Rome/Floyd Chamber of Commerce, where he served as past Chairman of the Small Business Action Council and the Economic Development Council, the Greater Rome Board of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
Bill served as past President and Treasurer for the Rome Braves Fan Club, whose function was to acclimate the players to the Rome community. The Fan Club also donated over $2,000 to local charities during his tenure as President. He was active with the Rom3e BRaves Bat’s Board for 4-years, and assisted the Rome Braves with marketing ideas to promote the team to the community. Bill will work with you in the selling or buying of all types of real estate.
