Even during the COVID-19 restrictions, he aggressively pursued marketing strategies that netted a sale quickly and with a higher closing price than expected! He was in constant contact with us and prophetic in what we could logically expect. He exudes confidence and competence. A real estate sales experience we will never forget. I am a 34 year old health professional and I have lived in San Diego for 5 years. I purchased and sold my first home with Bo shortly after moving to San Diego and I recently purchased a 2nd home with Bo in November of 2019 (this home is where I currently reside). Both of the homes I have purchased with Bo are Craftsman style homes in North Park, San Diego. I can not explain in words the professionalism and expertise that Bo has in the world of real estate (and in life in general)! He is so friendly and kind, but also knows his stuff when it comes to the current trending markets in San Diego. I feel so fortunate that I have had Bo as my agent since I first moved here from Boston 5 years ago! Not only is Bo talented, he has surrounded himself by an entire team of talented individuals (and it does take an entire team to close on a house). The Loan Advisor he works closely with is Sarah McCalmon and she is equally as fantastic as Bo. They seriously respect what they are doing and always try their best...I feel like they treat you like family and that is important to me! When it comes to buying a home in San Diego, I would truthfully only recommend Bo to any of my close friends and relatives... he is a great person who honestly enjoys what he does (and happens to be fantastic at it).

I've worked closely with Bo Bortner for over 3 years now to buy my first home. The amount of patience & thoughtful attention he showed during my first home buying process was beyond my wildest expectations. At one point in recent months, I hesitated to put in a bid on a property I really liked. Upon reflection, I realized my hesitation came from a thought that I didn't deserve something so nice! Sad & real. Thankfully with Bo's expert tutelage, I came to realize I deserve to be happy. That experience was one of so many that paved the way to my dream coming true. The first home I just recently closed on, might I add is a much better fit! Working with Bo turned a scary prospect into a dream come true & a rut into a freshly minted lifestyle. I learned so much about myself, buying a home, and I gained a lifelong friend to boot. I'm so grateful this all sounds super cheesey.
