Born and raised in South Korea, Bo has always enjoyed meeting and learning about people from different cultures. She studied English in New Zealand and majored in English Literature. In Korea, she worked as an interpreter at international trade and export conferences, helping businesses from all over the world buy and sell in Korea. She was also an international saleswoman for a custom optics manufacturer headquartered in Colorado, and spent time teaching English to employees at Samsung.

After marrying her best friend, she moved to northern Virginia where her husband got a job at Capital One. They live in Falls Church and have 2 beautiful children together–Owen and Yuna. Her children attend Fiore Montessori School in Vienna. Owen plays baseball in Falls Church Kiwanis Little League (FCKLL) and soccer in Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS). Yuna enjoys running around Great Falls National Park, Tuckahoe Park, and Lake Burke.
