I was recommended to Bob by my cousin as she had a wonderful experience with him. I was initially hesitant to get a real estate agent so soon as I’m very particular about who I want to work with. Bob is unlike any stereotypical real estate agent. He truly cares about his clients and doesn’t pressure you to buy a home just so that he can receive a commission. Bob was so wonderful to work with. My fiance and I were first-time homebuyers and had questions about everything (when to start looking, what the market was like, areas, strategies around offers, all of the steps that came before and after the offer etc). Bob patiently explained everything and never made us feel like we were bothering him. He was also great at letting us know what to anticipate next without us asking, and the gentle reminders if we forgot to do something :) We ended up getting our first offer accepted (luck?!) The offer process and post-acceptance tasks were not nearly as painful as we thought it would be, and we attribute a lot of that to having Bob as our agent.

We never felt uneasy or unsure about whether we were in good hands. We moved from San Diego to the Boston area due to work relocation. Before you think, bummer – I’d rather go the other direction, the move and reception in our new home has been wonderful, and we really do miss the four seasons. We had visited the area many times for work or holiday but had never lived in the area and did not know even where within the greater Boston area to live.

Prior to our virtual meeting with the relocation coordinator at Berkshire Hathaway in Boston, we sent our criteria for the ideal home we were seeking and explained that we were looking for an agent who could really understand our needs. Bob Bittelari was assigned to our case and we consider ourselves very fortunate. Bob is an agent who really understands the client's needs and is at hand to assist at every step of the home purchase. He really listens to the client. For example, we have a grand piano and like to play it, so specifications include no downstairs neighbors. We like to grill, so backyard would be nice. We like to walk or bike to work in Cambridge, so proximity to work or public transportation adds another filter, further reducing the possible homes, and we are scientists, not billionaires, so please do this all within a reasonable budget.

Bob is very knowledgeable about the housing market in the Boston area. As we are new to the area, Bob suggested several neighborhoods that we hadn’t considered. Bob helped educate us about many properties that look wonderful on the internet but had issues upon tour. Bob was present on nearly all the tours we did. I always felt that I was his personal client. We mutually agreed that Mother’s Day was off limits for tours, but otherwise he was available to respond quickly to queries or was sending us ideas of new homes that had just come onto the market. Despite the competitive market for buyers in Spring 2022, we purchased a home in a relatively short period of a few weeks of active searching, both remotely and in person, with the first offer we made. This was only possible because of Bob’s responsiveness on an urgent request to visit a property that was supposed to come off the market, but didn’t. It is easy to work with Bob because of his attention to detail, quick responsiveness, professionalism, and calm and personable manner.

Bob helped us sell our old home and buy a new one. Bob walked us through the different steps on making an offer on a new house while at the same time putting ours in the market. The process can be stressful, specially while we were also dealing with a busy schedule and family commitments, but Bob has ample market knowledge and is experienced on dealing with these situations. Bob was super responsive and available to us as we came up with questions to get us organized and make the best decisions. Once both offers were accepted and through the steps that followed, there were times that they were many balls in the air, but with no clarity on whether our closing attorney had the ball, or the buyer's one, or someone else. Bob was critical in calling out situations when things were not moving forward in the expected way, and either helped us find the right owner, or even took some of the responsibilities himself. We started working together *right* before all of the lockdowns started and it was a really shakey time for me navigating my own work and living situation. Bob and Leanne were super patient and understanding, and come late summer we got back into a groove, looking at houses, and trying to get our offers to stick in the super competitive market!

As agents they're both very candid and supportive of their clients - we'd talked over in detail the things I was looking for in a house and as we walked through showings they both had a keen eye for things that I would enjoy about certain houses, or things that I would probably not like.

When submitting offers, they helped me to strategize and enter the bidding competitively, and we finally won!

Bob Bittelari and Leanne Beliveau were literally a DREAM TEAM for me in the sale of my house in Arlington!!!! They exceeded my expectations in every way. Both are consummate professionals.
I made a quick decision to sell my home of 30 years. They provided an excellent market analysis and I was very confident in the strategy they presented. With their help, I got my house ready to be listed in 2 1/2 weeks!! They provided the referrals to everyone I needed - the staging consultant, painter, junk hauling service, landscaper and cleaning service. Just 4 days after the first showing, the house was under contract at over the asking price! That was impressive!!!!
What I appreciated even more was the way they supported me when the closing got delayed. Because of COVID, the probate court was closed and a document needed to clear the title was only available for delivery by mail. Bob and Leanne checked on my house for two months after I moved out of state to make sure the heat was on and everything was okay. They encouraged me to keep my spirits up while I was wondering if the closing was ever going to happen. And Bob negotiated with the mortgage lender to reduce the fee I paid to extend the rate lock on the buyer’s mortgage. I literally don’t know how I would have tolerated all that uncertainty and worry if I hadn’t had people I trusted to take care of my house during that delay.
Thankfully, it all came together and I couldn’t be more grateful to them for the successful sale of my home!!!!

It has been a pleasure to work with Bob on the purchase of our three homes. It is difficult to summarize all Bob has done for our family over the years. He is a professional who truly cares for his clients. He always made us feel like we were his only clients. After we were married 17 years ago, Bob found us our first home. Over the past 10 years or so, Bob Bittelari has been my realtor for three sales and one purchase. If I ever need to sell or buy another home in the Arlington/Cambridge or the surrounding areas, I would call him in a second. My wife and I recently closed on a house in Medford with Bob and Leanne as our agents. They did a great job of guiding us through the process as first time home buyers, and always made themselves available to talk us through questions, arrange a showing, and (importantly) supply moral support. Bob's experience in real estate was especially helpful during the negotiation process.
