About Brad

Brad Bruns was born in the cold north of Iowa in the river town of Keokuk. The cold did not agree with him, so his parents moved to the hills of Arkansas when he was just seven years old. Settling in on top of Mount Gayler he sharpened his skills as a very polished woodsman. Hunting whitetail became a way of life in high school while excelling in football, basketball, and baseball before graduating from Mountainburg High School. One year at College of the Ozarks in Clarksville helped him find his way up on the hill at Fayetteville to the University of Arkansas graduating with a BA degree in 1978. The love, that continues today, for the U of A led to a lifelong dream career as a police officer. The University of Arkansas Police Department was home for the next 23 1/2 years in roles of patrolman, investigator, sergeant, lieutenant and finally the last 16 years as second in command over operations. Brad's accomplishments were many as lead investigator in many major cases as well as mounds of law enforcement education graduating from three police academy's including the most prestigious law enforcement management training the United States at the FBI National Academy. Brad served as state President of the FBINAA and two years as President of the Springdale Kiwanis. After retirement in 2002, Brad found a new career field in real estate. The Lord has truly blessed in this field, leading the way to closing 1.2 million the first six months, 5.2 million the first full year, 9.7 million the second full year, and the largest at 21 million. As Senior Vice-President and Executive Broker with Lindsey and Associates, Brad's dream is to see that each deal is prayerfully completed to bring the customer to the fullest degree of satisfaction possible giving attention to one customer at a time. Brad along with his beautiful wife Rhenda, has lived in Springdale with son Aaron since 1981. Brad is a cancer survivor, in 2010 was diagnosed with carcinoid tumors in the small intestine and liver (see my 2010 testimony on www.bradburns.com). Brad and Rhenda lead a small group of teenagers in their home each week ranging in numbers from 89-18 at any given week, teaching the Word of God in association with Cross-Church Springdale. May God Bless you and remember Matthew 6:33—seek first the kingdom of heaven and all His righteousness and everything will be provided for you.
