About Brent

Upon graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Brent launched his career in sales with the New York Mets in 2003 as a representative in corporate entertainment sales. For three years, his sales territory was in the Financial District, where he ultimately followed one of his clients into financial services, obtaining the Licenses of Series 7 and 63. His financial services ranged from trades in the securities exchange to originating deals in private equity with Koinonia Capital Group of Investors (KCGI) as the Associate Director of Business Development.

Brent Seberhagen began his real estate career in 2013, joining his family's business at The Carroll Group as a Licensed Real Estate Broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago. In his first year, he facilitated the largest real estate transaction in the company's 20-year history-a residential sale at 21 East Huron. Brent continued working alongside his award-winning parents, Izetta and Jay Carroll, consistently earning accolades such as the President's Circle and Top 4% of Producers nationally in Chicago, Florida, and Wisconsin.

Brent returned to New York City in 2018 and works alongside his wife, Candis Lai, at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New York Properties. With a focus on commercial real estate, Brent ensures his clients receive customized, strategic services that meet their unique needs. He specializes in multifamily and mixed-use, helping clients navigate the complexities of the commercial market.

In 2023, Brent and Candis expanded their portfolio by purchasing a two-bedroom condo in Chelsea. They now reside with their two-year-old daughter, Alexis, and their Sheltie, Charlie. Brent and Candis ensure that clients are always comfortably taken care of, providing personal transportation when needed.

When not working, Brent enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer work at the Food Bank for New York City and by supporting organizations like The Sunshine Kids Foundation and THON, a Penn State initiative.
