Brett Rector

Initially licensed in 2003 in the state of Florida, Brett A. Rector is a versatile, seasoned Real Estate professional with experience helping buyers, sellers and investors realize their Real Estate dreams & goals. Brett is Broker and Co-Owner of Witry Collective, which he founded with his two partners in 2018.

He relocated to New Orleans in July of 2005, mere weeks prior to Katrina, for the opportunity to work with his mentor and dear friend, the legendary Martha Ann Samuel. After his mentor passed away in November of 2005. Brett focused his energies and efforts on building his Real Estate business & helping rebuild his new home city. Brett has consistently been listed amongst the Top Real Estate Producers by City Business Magazine as well as a NOMAR Gold & Platinum award-winning, multi-million-dollar producer. He received his Historic Home Specialist designation from the Preservation Resource Center in 2009 and has been featured in both New Orleans Magazine and Real Producers Magazine on multiple occasions.

A native of the Midwest, Brett has lived in Chicago, Los Angeles & Ft Lauderdale. With an educational background in Journalism, a keen eye for detail and a relentless passion for his profession, Brett has earned the respect of his peers & the devotion of his clients. “Every home has a story. Our houses are unique and highly individual. I love being able to share that knowledge, that history, with clients and colleagues.”

Brett calls St Claude Heights, in Arabi, home, with his two dogs; Rudy, a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and Rufus, a rescue terrier mix. A staunch supporter of local charities, Brett contributes to ARNO, Take Paws Rescue, House of Tulip and Son of a Saint and others. He enjoys the annual opportunity to serve as a volunteer at events such as the PRC’s Holiday Home Tour.
