About Brooke
Licensed in 1986, Brooke is a second-generation Realtor® who has seen the good, the bad and the ugly of the real estate market. Over her career she has chosen to let her experience balance out the good with the bad and has found a way to focus her energies on working by referral with outstanding results where over 95% of the Hunt Team’s sales come from repeat and referral clientele every year.
“There is no better way to spend your time, than with people who want to do business with you because they trust in your ability to get the job done for them with integrity, honesty and professionalism.”
Over the years, the Hunt Team has chosen to run their office like a true business with a written Business Plan, a P&L, a Mission Statement and a Long-Range Vision and Strategic Plan. Most of this comes from Brooke’s studies in Marketing while obtaining her Business Administration degree from University of North Texas in 1984 and from over 20 years in Leadership within various levels of the REALTOR Association.
“Honestly, we tried it the other way moving from this idea to the next shiny object that came along. Now, if a new idea cannot pass the litmus test of ‘Is this good for our clients?’ it just won’t fit within our model of customer service and satisfaction. Period. We work to serve our clients, not our own ego.”
Brooke led her local Realtor® Association in 1999 and was the Chairman of the Texas Association of Realtors® in 2009. Texas honored her service by naming her the Texas Realtor® of the Year in 2015.
Through all of this, the things that matter the most to Brooke are faith, family, friends, fun, football, and her fur babies.
“Thanksgiving is my favorite day of the year. We have both the Monts and the Hunt families over to our home and it a full day of fellowship, feasting and football…. a Trifecta in my book!”
The Hunt Team is realizing one of their long-range goals this year by expanding their service from the Dallas-Fort Worth market into the Greater Austin Area. What makes this even better? Their daughter, Emily Bibby, will run that office starting in November 2017, joining not only Michael and Brooke, but Rebecca Hunt, their Niece. “Keeping it Weird in Austin and Keeping it in The Family!”
Life is what you make of it, and they intend to make it the best it can be and a little fun!
