About Bruce
Bruce Robertson understands that property transactions go part and parcel with life's passages, and the challenges one faces during them. He enjoys working with singles, couples, and families going through those transitions and credits his success to a mix of mature life experience and community outreach to intimately know many local neighborhoods throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Bruce came to the world of real estate 15 years ago after a thriving career as an advertising executive in Manhattan's Flatiron District marketing diverse business and consumer goods and services. He draws on his marketing expertise and creativity, along with his partners “R-Team”, to help clients achieve their unique real estate goals, whether it be home ownership, a rental, or to sell a prized property.
Bruce is actively involved in the Audubon Park Historic District of Washington Heights, as a popular realtor, a gratified resident, a former board member of his co-op, and a committed community advocate on Community Board 12.
Bruce and his wife Lynne live at The Grinnell, in a wonderful pre-war cooperative apartment which they totally renovated. They are both active members of their co-op, various community organizations, and the Real Estate Board of New York's (REBNY) Upper Manhattan Group. They sometimes escape to their bungalow on the North Fork of Long Island.
Bruce, a former Peace Corps Volunteer, has done pro-bono work for various non-profit organizations throughout the years, including Community League of the Heights (CLOTH), City Harvest, and Achilles Track International.
