Born in Virginia and raised in Elizabeth City, I understand the unique communities, neighborhoods, and opportunities that make our region a great place to live, work, and invest.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Elizabeth City State University and my MBA from East Carolina University. Throughout my career, I have worked in talent acquisition, workforce development, higher education, and community leadership with organizations including Microsoft, LinkedIn, GEICO, Eastern AHEC, and Elizabeth City State University. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to service, communication, and helping people navigate important life decisions.
