A fourth-generation Essex County resident, Caitlin Diruggiero is a trusted, hardworking, goal-oriented real estate agent with deep expertise in both the residential and commercial markets. She founded CityWest with her business partner and childhood friend, Angela McCaffrey, to help clients make well informed real estate decisions and find their absolute dream homes.
Though Caitlin has been an agent for over a decade, she was introduced to the real estate world even earlier at a young age by her father who worked in commercial property management in Manhattan. In Caitlin, he instilled a steadfast work ethic and the resolute belief that everyone deserves the same respect no matter who they are.
Caitlin believes that it’s incumbent upon her to do all that she can to serve the best interests of her clients, which includes being honest with them and setting realistic expectations when necessary. She remains calm in even the most stressful situations and looks to impart the same sense of focus and confidence in her clients by ensuring they are well informed throughout a transaction and are empowered to make confident, wise decisions.
Since earning her marketing degree from the University of Scranton, Caitlin has not only put her business savvy to work in real estate, but also runs a thriving second business, COREFIRE, a multi-award-winning fitness studio which she also co-founded with Angela when she was just 25 years old. Caitlin and Angela also share two bulldogs, deliciously named Ziti and Cutlet.
A big believer in the power of community, Caitlin sits on the board for The Arc of Essex County and is Alumni Council president at Montclair Kimberley Academy, where she attended high school. When she’s not working, she’s likely golfing, playing paddle, grilling, surfing or hanging out at the beach.
