I really enjoyed working with Candace! She did not pressure me to buy a house! Her motto was “ at the end of the day you have to live in the house and be happy with it” and she was sincere about that. If I wanted to see a house she was always ready to accommodate my schedule! I would definitely recommend her and she is knowledgeable about the real estate industry!

I recently moved to Greenville and needed help finding a house. I had a lot of questions about the home buying process, the housing market in Greenville, SC and, honestly, where to start! Fortunately for me, I met Candace Smith of The Smith Team. Candace made the entire house hunting/buying experience a pleasure. Every step of the way, Candace demonstrated expertise, patience, and professionalism. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and showed me many options so that I could make an educated decision on buying my new home.

In addition, Candace's negotiation skills were excellent...she helped me to get the best deal possible. She also was "over-the-top" helpful in arranging inspections, researching my concerns, and making solid recommendations.

Most of all, Candace LISTENED to me. She took the time to understand my specific needs and clearly described each step of the process. I am so thankful that I found Candace Smith and her team! Thanks to Candace, I found the perfect home for me.

Candace has been amazing! She was always helpful and professional, extremely responsive but never pushy. She is very knowledgeable, and was able to pivot quickly when I fell in love with a house that was very different from the ones I had been showing her! Our first connection was online, but when I met her I felt like we were friends already. She spent a lot of time emailing with us before our first trip to Greenville, and then driving me around Greenville to look at different houses and explain the different areas. We were relocating from Maryland and had never been to South Carolina before, and Candace went above and beyond to help us with the relocation and orienting us to the area to make sure we were comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about her - Candace is wonderful, you will not regret using her for all of your real estate needs! (Ps - her partner/husband Robert, is awesome also and was willing to pitch in to make sure I could see as many houses as possible in the brief time that I was in town. The two of them went out of their way to help us through all parts of the real estate process and to make sure we felt supported at all times).

Candace helped us so much. She drove all the way to another town from her home office more times than I could count to take my husband and I all over town, with no hesitation. She was always ready to hop on a deal for us, and helped us manage getting into a contract and out of it once we decided the home wasn’t for us. Ultimately, we ended up in our dream home and couldn’t be more thankful. Candace helped so much every stop of the way and we. Couldn’t have done it without her!

We were moving from NY to SC and contacted several realtors, but once we spoke with Candace, we knew she was the one to help us relocate to a new state and find us the perfect home! And boy were we right! In just 5 days she found us a home that had everything we were looking for and more!! It is a complex real estate market in Greenville especially for "out of staters" like us, and she definitely knows how to navigate it. You’re not going to find a better realtor than Candace! As a first time homebuyer, buying a home was scary and confusing. Candace took her time and got to know us to help us figure out what we wanted. She went above and beyond as we toured homes, checking things we would have never thought to check- even peeking into the crawl space! She worked around the clock, and would immediately text us with new listings matching our criteria. She took all of the stress out of buying a home. Even after we brought our home, she was our first visitor and gave us beautiful housewarming gifts! She is so personable and warm and just has a way of making you feel comfortable with her. If I could give Candace 100 stars, I would- 5 does not seem like enough.

In the middle of this impossible real estate market, Candace Smith, was able to help us find and purchase our new home. Within and hour of me telling her that I was interested in seeing this house, Candace was able to make and appointment to see it. We were the first to see the home and fell in love with it. Knowing that we were not interested in a bidding war, which is what we went through previously, she was able to direct us and gave us a good chance of buying. We are now moved into the house and very happy with it.
