Cara R. Cavanaugh

Originally from Arizona, Cara has lived in Alameda for 15 years. During her time in Alameda, she has served as the Branch Manager of US Bank formerly on Otis Drive in the Safeway gas station location. She has raised three daughters and was active in PTA, serving most recently as the VP of Programs for PTAC. Cara also co-chaired Measure A, a recent parcel tax measure to increase AUSD teacher salaries by 13%. It successfully passed in March 2020.

Cara began her career as a real estate agent in 2018. She closed 8 transactions totaling over 6 million in sales her first year and won the coveted Rising Star Award at Berkshire Hathaway. She was also a member of the Leading Edge Society, which is the top 10% of sales production for Northern California. Cara was invited to join the Top Agent Network in 2019, which is a network of agents that may join by invitation only and you must be performing in the 10% of sales volume for their county.

In 2019, Cara was invited to join Compass where she has continued to grow her successful business into what it is today, a boutique real estate practice highly focused on the East Bay with a high standard of customer service.
