Carey has been absolutely a pleasure to work with! He has worked diligently with us for over a year trying to find the perfect "retirement" home for our needs. Carey is a great listener, therefore, he never wasted our time with properties that did not meet our specific request that we had discussed previously. The perfect home for us finally came and we are so grateful to Carey for making our "Dream Home" come true!
The property came with some challenges along the way, but throughout the entire process, Carey kept us informed on all aspects via emails and phone calls.
He is very knowledgeable in his field, therefore, he was very helpful and was able to handle any situation that arose throughout the process.

My husband and I highly recommend Carey to anyone looking for real estate in the area. He knows the area extremely well.

We recently bought our forever home at a great price in Ponte Vedra with Carey Frankel's expert guidance and negotiating skills. He provides constant updates, and handled nearly every facet of the purchase including working with our bank, meeting the inspectors, and negotiating repairs - including arranging escrow money to repair our roof after closing so that we could move in on schedule. I don't know when or if he ever sleeps because when you send and e-mail, you can expect a quick response nearly anytime of day.

There isn't enough space to list all of my compliments, but the best part was Carey's incredible ability to provide unbiased facts and guidance, while never trying to convince us to settle on one place or another - he left that part to us patiently arranging new listings as our needs and requirements changed throughout the process. He absolutely never made it feel like an inconvenience while reassuring us that changes are just part of the journey. I can say that it you are looking to buy in the Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra/St Augustine area you won't find a more genuine, honest and knowledgeable agent to guide you through this process.

Now - a year later we have sold our home, and bought one with an in-law apartment which my in-laws have just moved into. Google seems to only allow me to add to my original review, and not post again, but please see my wife’s full review on Zillow.

In short we really got to see what a professional like Carey can do. He guided us through an extremely challenging contingency sale where we sold a house that we’d only had for less than a year in order to purchase one with an in-law apartment. The amount of detail and contracts and work that went into this buy and sell was staggering and all the while Carey again handled everything calmly and easily. It is still amazing to me that he can make you feel like you are his only client, and never seem to miss even the most minute detail. Even on contracts, he’ll send an e-mail with all of the pertinent lines listed with a number and explanation of what each means. There are no better words to describe Carey than “True Professional.” Unfortunately, not every realtor is a full time professional, with over 25 years in the family business working around the greater Jacksonville area, but lucky for us, Carey is just that and I wouldn’t trust anyone else for any decision and transaction as big as buying a home, selling a home, or buying and selling a home in this area.

Carey helped my daughter and I through the entire process of purchasing her first home. He spent months taking us through various properties, giving us guidance along the way. I know we weren't his only clients, but he made us feel that we were. He kept in constant contact with us and was always available when we needed him. My husband and I recently purchased our new home using Frankel Realty Group and Carey Frankel as our realtor. We are EXTREMELY picky - firing 3 buying agents when we purchased our first home because they weren't showing us what we wanted to see... so we were leery about finding another buying agent to purchase our new home. He was referred to us by a friend and we couldn't be happier we were so lucky to get in touch with him.

Carey is instantly responsive any time of day. Not overly chatty, he is thoughtful and one of the most unassuming, intelligent, and professional people we have had the pleasure of working with. Never once did he put pressure on us or ask us to sign any kind of contract with him. He showed us the properties we wanted to see and instantly reached out to any selling agents/sellers with questions we had. He knows the market -
which was big for us as we were moving from Tampa and didnt know much about Jacksonville. He told us which were the good and less good neighborhoods and what we were getting a good deal on - all extremely important things when purchasing a home.

He coordinated everything so we didnt have to lift a finger and made himself available for any and all appointments we needed. When we asked his professional opinion, he gave it, but otherwise did not push his ideas on us or rush us in any way. He did, however, help us brainstorm as we had a unique situation with building and in-law suite for which we were quite thankful.

Once we closed on the home, he continued to stay in touch with us, helping us source contracting vendors for our home and regularly checks in to see if we need anything.

Carey has become a friend to us, as his kind, welcoming, and honest nature makes him extremely easy to be around and a joy to work with.

Any seller or buyer would be extremely lucky to work with Carey Frankel and Frankel Realty. Highly Recommended!!
