For the second time in 10 months we had the opportunity to work with Carissa Marshall. Both experiences far exceeded our expectations! Last December Carissa helped us sell our house that we lived in for over 10 years and helped us find a great rental while we let the dust settle. Recently, we started our search for our dream home with none other than Carissa of course! The process of buying a house in this market was brutal, cutthroat, discouraging, and stressful. Carissa helped us every step of the way, always staying positive and being available when we needed her and taking time away from her family to help us. After a long, time consuming, frustrating, and even at times disgusting with some of the houses we saw, we finally found our dream house and in large part due to Carissa! Once we found the house that was only half the battle. Making the offer, getting accepted, and then starting the grueling process of going from Attorney Review to the Closing. Again, Carissa was there every step of the way even when things got bumpy and challenges presented. Finally, take us to the day of the close….. Carissa was by our side from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM! Going above and beyond what an agent’s call to duty would typically involve! Carissa is a friend and someone we have and always will love dearly. That said, knowing Carissa for as long as we have I know that this extra attention to detail, going that extra mile, giving it that personal touch is not something Carissa did because we’re friends. That is just who Carissa is! Someone who cares, takes pride in her craft, and will go to the ends of the earth for anyone she’s working with! Carissa made the stressful and emotional process of selling our home as easy as it could be. We were making a move out of state with very tight timelines to meet and she made it happen. Multiple, over-asking offers within days and a quick, seamless closing. She was patient with our hundreds of questions, always had our best interest in mind and most of all, understood that she wasn't just selling a house, it was our home...and she couldn't have been kinder or more sensitive to all that goes along with that. We worked with Carissa for about 4 months to find a home that works for us. She was very easy to work with, great with communication, was a knowledge-source for areas to consider as well as price-point. Carissa is the ONLY real estate agent you need to know!!! She came highly recommended from my cousin, who Carissa helped find her perfect forever home. Patient, kind, funny, honest, great taste and a super hard worker. She is definitely on top of her game and her perseverance is unmatched. It took a while to find the right fit for me, but she did not give up. I’m so happy that we didn’t because after 10 months of searching we finally found a perfect place for me to call home. She held my hand through the whole experience, being a first time home buyer, that was just what I needed. I don’t think she’s aware but she’s my friend now, whether she likes it or not! She even got me a beautiful housewarming gift, a monogrammed charcuterie board, that I cant wait to use! I can’t express how valuable her experience and knowledge was for me. She was ahead of everything and even “the closer” (IDK his proper title) commented on how together everything was and how it made his job much easier.
