Having the experience of being a military spouse during my husband’s 23 year career in the Air Force, I enjoy working with military families. I fully understand the urgency and pitfalls of home shopping during a PCS. I am also very familiar with the VA loan process. I became licensed in 2005 and have since worked as a realtor in several states. I am happy to now serve buyers and sellers throughout the DMV area.
Having a background and experience in corporate finance, I am able to utilize my skills and knowledge to help clients sell and buy their homes. As Social Media and other types of technology become the norm in the real estate industry, I am committed to learning and applying the latest tools to best serve the needs of my clients.
Originally from the Bahamas, I grew up in South Florida. I received my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. After a few years in corporate finance, I decided to pursue a career in real estate.
My husband, Leo and I love to travel, however, cooking and crafting are hobbies that I enjoy. We have moved 8 times over the course of my husbands over 20 years of service. Two of our favorite duty locations were Germany and Hawaii. We have two smart and beautiful daughters, the younger of whom is Deaf. I am proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and believe communication access should be a right for everyone. We also have a four-legged son, a chihuahua mix, named Goldie.
