Carlos Angelucci began honing his business leadership skills at an early age. At 18, he was the youngest manager in the country for a well-known, 7,500 store electronics retail operation. He went on to run multiple stores, increasing the sales at each one until they all ranked among the top 25 stores nationwide.
He then moved to a major telecommunications company, where he quickly became a top salesperson. He was offered multiple regional management positions, but he instead chose to take on a new challenge. After multiple meetings with Anthony Lolli, Carlos realized that he wanted to work somewhere he would be free to develop his talents and earning potential without limits, and he knew RAPIDREALTY would be that place. He acquired his real estate license and joined RAPIDREALTY NYC as an agent in early 2006.
In a matter of months, Carlos established himself as one of RAPIDREALTY's highest-producing rental agents. At the time, RAPIDREALTY primarily worked in residential rentals. Less than a year after joining the company, Carlos was tapped to develop the company's commercial division. Within three months, RAPID's distinctive For Rent signs could be found on over 500 retail properties throughout New York City.
When RAPIDREALTY added another floor to its flagship office, Carlos was tasked with using the space to recruit and train an entirely new team of agents. It was effectively a dry run for future expansion, to see if he could build a strong rental team from scratch that could perform as well as RAPID's veteran agents. While working toward this goal, Carlos created the company's first new agent orientation program.
He proved so successful at teambuilding that he was soon promoted to Human Resources Director, making him the head of all of RAPIDREALTY's recruiting efforts. With the highly efficient recruitment systems he put in place, Carlos regularly interviewed over a hundred candidates a day. The company quickly grew to the point where opening additional offices was not just a possibility, but a necessity.
In 2008, with expansion on the horizon, Carlos was named RAPIDREALTY's Chief Operating Officer. Since then, he has had a profound influence on the development of the RAPIDREALTY brand. He has created dozens of manuals, crafted major policy initiatives, and played an integral role in launching and overseeing the company's franchising operations, setting the stage for RAPIDREALTY to earn multiple awards for growth and franchisee satisfaction within its first few years of expansion.
Today, Carlos's responsibilities range from crafting marketing strategies to developing new technologies and partnerships to traveling across the country to establish new RAPIDREALTY franchises. He is the chief advisor to Anthony Lolli, a constant source of support to the company's growing ranks of franchisees and agents, and a guiding force behind both the way RAPIDREALTY does business today and the way it is adapting for the future.
