Carly Seward is a third-generation real estate professional, a native Alexandrian, and a dynamic community builder with a heart for service and a backbone of steel. She has a 15-year background in sales in the luxury wine industry, where she was named a Wine Industry Leader by Wine Business Monthly. She is the founder of two non-profits: The Veraison Project, which aims to make the wine industry more diverse, and Dinner (Over) Party, which brings neighbors with opposing political viewpoints together to share a meal to mitigate polarization and strengthen communities.

Her spouse is an Air Force officer set to retire this August after two decades of service and together they have built a beautiful blended family. As a mother to one, stepmother to two, and dog mom to two, Carly understands the importance of home—not just as a place, but as a foundation for connection and belonging. She brings this same perspective to her work, ensuring her clients feel supported every step of the way. When she’s not working, Carly enjoys volunteering, coaching local kids’ sports teams, working out (especially Pilates and weightlifting), exploring local restaurants, hunting down the best martini, sharing a glass of wine, playing mahjong, and deepening her practice as a Reiki Master. She believes in living with intention and always leaving things better than she found them.
